How does it work? 1. Decide on your word, phrase or heart. 2. Choose from the colour themes that I offer. 3. Decide if you’d like me to add hand lettering. You can have all the same colour or mix them up. I can also add stones in, if there is something that you’d particularly like. Truly, I can do anything. At the moment there are three colour ways, but I am building on these all the time. Sign up to my newsletter so that I can keep you updated. Get some inspiration by looking at the gallery to see examples of what’s possible, or read the stories of how people have worked with me to create their unique piece and their ‘why’.

How do you make these? I have painstakingly been creating illustrated letters, painting every stone with thought and intention. Once letters and hearts are completed I scan them in, checking that I don’t lose any of the subtlety of colour and that the scan is as true to the original as possible. This means I am gradually building up a library of alphabets and hearts. I can then combine them digitally to build the print. I then work on each print, placing extra stones and adding hand lettering if that is something you’d like.

Tell me about what the prints actually are? Once I am happy that the art work is perfect, I have them printed at a specialist fine art giclee printers near me, in Brighton. This means I can check the prints are perfect! I often work on top of the prints, adding details and checking that it is exactly right. The prints are fine art quality and archival. They are printed on beautiful, textured paper, which is light-fast so that they can become heirlooms. You are buying something so special, to be treasured. Once I’m happy then I can package them up and send them them off to you, ready for framing. Please contact me if you’d like advice on framing.

How do you price these? I have packages . . . go to the bespoke order page (coming very soon) and choose what you think is the best fit for you. If what you want isn’t there, please contact me. I’m very happy to do something unique. The other packages will give you an idea of the price.

How long do they take? Contact me and I will tell you. For some orders it will be as little as two weeks from commission to delivery, if I have already got these letter illustrations in my portfolio and ready to be worked on for your piece. If I don’t or you want me to do something that’s more unusual contact me and I will let you know. Just remember that this will be something special that you or the recipient will want to keep forever. I want to get it right for you. If you need something faster, consider ordering a fine art print instead.
